Just 1 thing NO ONE is talking about! The SMELL - how has no one mentioned it???! Yes, it came quickly, it was vacuum packed and I was shocked at how soft and supportive it was, much like a pillow top mattress - for the $$ a GREAT buy. BUT it has this acrylic smell that has taken the room by hostage! We unwrapped it 6 days ago and for 6 days we kept the windows open, sprayed with deodorants and still it's pretty pungent. I know they have to put a bunch of flame retardant chemicals on it, but other mattresses don't reek like this, maybe it was just because it was vacuum sealed? Good thing it was a guest bed...hoping it goes away eventually, but even so, just wanted to give others a heads up! UPDATE: It's now been 2 weeks and the smell has declined slightly - went from a 10 unbearable, to an 8 - we still have to keep the door closed to keep it from the rest of the house. Will update once it subsides more! ANOTHER UPDATE: It has been MONTHS and the smell remains. It has lessened, but I'm just shocked it still remains. I think it will always be there. Glad it's a guest mattress so I don't have to smell it every night!

Skeptical at first When we recieved this in the mail and it was in a box not even taller than my short self I was worried I ordered the wrong thing. I opened it up and unwrapped it and POP out comes a full size mattress that is very nice looking and comfortable!

Foam mattress Love this mattress. Our daughter is handicapped and we had problems finding a mattress that was comfortable for her. She loves this one. It has held up wonderfully and is still comfortable. I have tried it myself. Helped my back feel better. Got up next morning not hurting.

No it does not. It is just the mattress. I use slats for my bed and recommend it. It's easier, cheaper, and more convenient to deal with.

I had mine laying down so it could expand evenly. While I'm sure you could have it right side up and still get expansion, I would lay it down if you have the space.

I would say the same, as above. The mattress will expand either way, if you can't lay it down upon arrival. But once you put it on the bed, you might find slightly uneven surface at the bottom, which will straighten out later, once on the bed. If this is something you don't mind, then go ahead, leave it standing against the wall.

It arrived within a week I think. I bought it a year ago, so I don't really remember. However, the fact that I've had it for a year and it's still in perfect condition says a lot! I actually find it much more comfortable than a spring mattress.

Hello Crista, lucky I got your question! I actually just ordered the twin version of this mattress for my daughters bunk bed. This is more like a regular mattress. The quality is really nice and she has slept in her own bed since we got it. Before she had a memory foam mattress that was way to soft and made her hot. It seems like this mattress can breath alot more than memory foam. Memory foam and regular foam are different materials. I would go to a mattress store and test out the different comfort options to pick out what you would want. I do have to say that I am very happy with my purchase though.
